Best Tips:
1.) Use props! - make the picture more interesting
2.) Have fun with it. Be sexy. Be yourself. Be awesome. Be different. Be creative. Whatever you do, have fun with it. That’s part of the point, after all.
3.) Get Closer- The most common mistake made by photographers is that they are not physically close enough to their subjects.
Environmental Portrait: I really liked this photo because it shows the worker in their natural environment and it is very "raw". This is a candid photo and it does not looked forced.
Environmental Portrait: I really liked this photo because it is a close up of the subject. I also really like the background and all of the lights, it shows their natural environment which is Times Square.
Photography Self Portrait:

I like this photo because the photographer is holding up a photo of her face instead of just taking a plain photo. I think this photo is unique and an interesting self portrait.
Casual Self portrait: I like this photo because the two subjects look like they are having fun and are enjoying themselves. The portrait looks very casual and they don't look forced to smile or anything like that .
I like this photo because i think that the background is really pretty and very casual. The family look like they are having fun and are in everyday attire. I also like the balance and lighting of this photo.
Portrait Assignment:
For my portrait assignment I will be shooting portraits of Marina. I will be taking the photos outside near the courtyard by the red hall. I want the photos to successfully show Marina's personality and style. I will want to focus on the lighting and balance.
