1.) What first caught your eye while looking at your photographers photos? Is there something in particular about their photos that made you want to choose them?
When first looking at my photographers photos, I noticed how he used the camera settings to manipulate the picture. Some of his photos look really cool because the background is blurry, and this makes the subject seem more dynamic. All of his photos deal with regular people and i think the way he portrays them in his photos is really unique and visually appealing.
2.) Look at those 2 photos you posted last time. Use your five senses to tell me more about those photos. Answer them on your blog.
Photo 1:
I see a woman who is being pushed around in the crowd, on her way home from the store. This woman is in a hurry and needs to get home to her husband. I smell the sweat of all the people crowding around the streets, and they have probably been walking outside for awhile. I hear the careless chatter coming from people walking the streets. I taste the thick musky air when you are outside. Outside it is very humid and hot. I feel bad for this woman because she seems scared and confused.
Photo 2:
I see a man who is about to buy tickets for a train ride later in the day. I smell the freshly made food coming from the small restraunt right beside the building that sells train tickets. I can hear the music coming from the guitar that the man standing on the side of the street is playing. I taste the sizzling food and pastries from the restraunt. I feel rushed or in a hurry, because the photo is blurry and everyone in the photo is blurred.
3.) Finally, what would you like to create to show the world your great photographer.
I would like to either make a powerpoint presentation or a blog devoted to my photographer. I would illustrate to people why he is important and some of his best works.
