A. Summarize the main points of the story in 1-4 sentences.
The main point of the story is that photo manipulation is okay to use to fix some photos, but shouldn't be used to completely transform the photo. The story mentions that they photoshopped the photo so that it would have an entire other missile being shot in the air.
B. Explain why you think this type of photo editing is unethical or acceptable.
I think this type of photo editing is unethical because it deceives the public. People are led to believe one thing, however it is a lie and has been transformed. Photo editing is okay when you are trying to better the photo and fix the lighting or focus. However, when you start manipulating how people look or what stays in the photo, i think this is considered unethical.
Most Unethical Photo:

I think this photo is the most unethical because it is decieving the audience of this admissions handout. The school is trying to make their campus seem more diverse by including a student of color in a photo, when he really isn't even included in the original photo. People that are viewing this are led to believe that there is some diversity, however there probably really isn't. I think it's unethical because they actually took another unrelated photo of someone and included it in the photo.
Least Unethical Photo:
I believe this photo is the least unethical because the person who photoshopped this photo was simply trying to remove the pole in the background. They probably only did this because it was in a awkward place and was a merger. The removal of the pole does not change the subject of the photo or does not take away from the importance of the photo.
